THE GIFTED LINES
In the Kingdom of Maratoss, the Gifted are those individuals uniquely blessed—or, in one case, cursed—by the gods.
CURRENCY IN MARATOSS
The currency in Maratoss is known as the krown.
Bronze krown are commonly used for everyday transactions, such as purchasing small goods, paying tolls, or offering tips.
Silver krown are more versatile, frequently exchanged in marketplaces for a wide range of goods or used to cover taxes and fees.
For larger transactions, Gold krown come into play, whether it's purchasing land, commissioning artwork, or facilitating trade within the kingdom.
At the highest level, Platinum krown, often referred to as "Royal krown," are reserved for the most valuable exchanges, such as acquiring rare artifacts, precious gemstones, or commissioning grand architectural works.
REAPERS
Reapers, distinguished by their slitted pupils, are the rarest of the four gifted lines.
Once free to walk among the people of Maratoss, their fate took a dark turn when a group of Reapers deliberately murdered countless innocents. This act shattered public trust, casting Reapers as unnatural and dangerous—harbingers of death and destruction. Strict laws solidified this fear, branding Reapers as abominations and making their existence illegal in society.
